The Voigtländer 40mm/2 lens on the GFX
Last weekend I had a chance to try out my new Voigtländer 40mm/2 lens on my Fujifilm GFX50R. Like my Voigtländer 58mm/1.4, I got it in Nikon F-mount and use it with an adapter. I really like this lens, which becomes a 29mm equivalent on the larger GFX sensor. It’s tack sharp wide open, has a bokeh full of character and flares very nicely. It seems to cover the sensor better than the 58mm and the vignette is easy to correct in Lightroom. The lens design is very compact and it focuses quickly and easily with the help of focus peaking.
These photos were shot in Skummeslövstrand and in Knäred, outside of Laholm. Most of them were shot at f/2.
